This page explains how to permanently delete your Oasis
(habit tracker) account and all associated data. Oasis is operated by
Boolean Autocrats.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)
- Open the Oasis app on your device.
- Make sure you are signed in with the Google account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm Delete forever in the dialog.
The deletion runs immediately. Your Firebase authentication record is
removed and your cloud data is wiped in the same step.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app (for example, you have uninstalled it
or lost your device), email us from the same Google address you used to
sign in:
To:
ping@neetesh.me
Subject: Oasis account deletion request
Body: Please delete the Oasis account associated with
this email address and all data linked to it.
We will action the request within 30 days and reply to
confirm once the account has been removed.
What gets deleted
- Your Firebase authentication record (Google Sign-In link, user ID, email, display name).
- Your Oasis profile document and any profile photo stored inside it.
- All habits, check-ins, streak history, and related statistics stored under your user ID in Cloud Firestore.
- Your push notification token.
What is retained (and for how long)
-
Anonymised analytics and crash events collected by
Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics are retained for up to
14 months in line with Google's default retention.
These events are not tied to your name or email and cannot be used to
re-identify you after the account is deleted.
-
Google Play purchase records (if you subscribed to
Oasis Pro) are held by Google Play, not by us. Refund and billing
history with Google follows Google Play's own retention rules.
-
Support email correspondence, if any, is retained for
up to 12 months for fraud and abuse prevention.
