Boolean Autocrats is a small team that started Oasis after years of watching habit-tracker apps optimise for the wrong things — streaks designed to make you anxious, notifications timed to maximise opens, paywalls that lock the parts you actually need.
We wanted something quieter. An app you open once a day, tap a circle, and close. An app that doesn't try to be your friend, your coach, or your therapist. An app that respects the truth that most habits aren't built by software at all — they're built by you, every single morning.
A habit tracker should disappear. The habit is the point.
So Oasis is intentionally tiny. No social feed, no leaderboards, no coach screens. Just a plant per habit that grows when you check in. And — because we're already touching your morning anyway — every Pro subscription plants a real tree through Tree-Nation. One when you sign up, one every month you stay, one for every 30-day streak.
We're based in Kathmandu, Nepal, where every monsoon makes the value of a forest very obvious. Tree-Nation lets us turn the small economics of an indie app — a couple of dollars per Pro subscriber — into something that outlives any retention chart.
